My name is Jemma D, and I am a passionate and dedicated home carer with experience in assisting individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, Depression, and those who are bedbound. I specialize in providing hourly and overnight care, focusing on the well-being and comfort of my clients.
Although I may not be able to drive or have a car, my dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care make up for it. With several years of experience under my belt, I have honed my skills in bathing, toileting, dressing assistance, catheter care, and providing companionship. I understand the importance of maintaining one's independence, and I strive to empower my clients to lead fulfilling lives.
Outside of caregiving, I have an array of hobbies that bring me joy and balance. I enjoy painting, cooking, and baking, which allows me to express my creativity and provides comfort for those around me. Additionally, I find solace in solving puzzles, decorating spaces, and tending to my garden, which I take great pride in.
When it comes to pets, I have a love for all creatures. Cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, birds; they all hold a special place in my heart. I believe that the presence of pets can enhance the well-being of individuals, providing companionship and unconditional love.
As a person, I am known for being caring, friendly, and helpful. I am motivated by the joy and satisfaction that comes from helping others lead independent lives. The personal connections I form with my clients are invaluable, and I am grateful for the trust they place in me.
